How HSK 2 Reading Part 3 works
Read one or two sentences, then judge the statement below them marked ★. You mark ✓ if the statement agrees with the text and ✗ if it does not.
The statement usually restates one fact from the text — sometimes accurately, sometimes with one detail changed: the job, the time, the number, the person. Some items need a small inference rather than a word-for-word match.

How many questions are in HSK 2 Reading Part 3?
5. It is part 3 of 4 in the HSK 2 Reading section, which has 25 questions and lasts about 22 minutes, for 100 points.
How is HSK 2 Reading Part 3 marked?
Automatically. Every question has one correct answer and all carry the same weight. A wrong answer costs nothing more than a blank one, so never leave a question empty.
Is pinyin printed at HSK 2?
Yes. At HSK 2 the printed words and sentences carry pinyin, so you can read the paper before you know every character. It is still worth learning the characters — the pinyin is gone from HSK 3.
How long is the text?
Short: one to three sentences, with pinyin at HSK 2.
What if the text does not mention the claim at all?
Then the text does not support it, and it is false.
