This part tests whether you follow a short conversation and can answer a question about it. 10 questions — answer format: choose the correct printed option.
You hear a short conversation between a man and a woman, then a question read aloud — 问：…. The options are printed on the paper and you choose the one that answers it.
At the lower levels the conversation is two lines and the question asks for a fact: a time, a place, a number, a person. As the level rises the conversations get longer, and the questions move towards inference — what the man means, what the woman will probably do next, how the speaker feels.
